A vulnerability was found in Apple iTunes up to 12.7.1 on Windows (Multimedia Player Software). It has been rated as problematic. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 370687 (Apple iTunes for Windows Prior to 12.7.2 Multiple Vulnerabilities. (HT208326)).
Upgrading to version 12.7.2 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published even before and not after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
