A vulnerability was found in Simple PHP File Manager (Programming Language Software) (the affected version is unknown). It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown code of the file index.php. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory.
