A vulnerability was found in Microsoft Windows up to XP (Operating System). It has been classified as critical. The weakness was released 09/10/2013 by Mateusz Jurczyk and Gynvael Coldwind with Google Security Team as MS13-076 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is shared at technet.microsoft.com. The public release was coordinated with Microsoft. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2013-1342 since 01/12/2013. An attack has to be approached locally. The successful exploitation needs a authentication. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available.
