admin.php in BigTree through 4.2.18 has a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability, which allows remote authenticated users to inject arbitrary web script or HTML by launching an Edit Page action and entering the Navigation Title or Page Title of a page that is scheduled for future publication (aka a pending page change).
The bug was discovered 06/11/2017. The weakness was published 06/12/2017 (GitHub Repository). The advisory is shared at github.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2017-9547 since 06/11/2017. The attack may be initiated remotely. A simple authentication is necessary for exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
