A vulnerability was found in GraphicsMagick 1.3.25 (Image Processing Software). It has been classified as problematic. This affects the function ReadMATImage
of the file coders/mat.c of the component MAT Object Handler. The manipulation as part of a MATLAB Image leads to a resource consumption vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-400. The software does not properly control the allocation and maintenance of a limited resource, thereby enabling an actor to influence the amount of resources consumed, eventually leading to the exhaustion of available resources.
