A Remote Code Execution vulnerability in HPE Intelligent Management Center (iMC) PLAT version PLAT 7.3 (E0504) was found. The problem was resolved in HPE Intelligent Management Center PLAT v7.3 (E0506) or any subsequent version.

The bug was discovered 08/11/2017. The weakness was released 08/11/2017 by Steven Seeley (mr_me) with Zero Day Initiative as HPESBHF03768 as confirmed security bulletin (Website) via ZDI (Zero Day Initiative). The advisory is shared at h20565.www2.hpe.com. The public release was coordinated with HPE. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2017-12534 since 08/05/2017. The attack can be launched remotely.
