IBM DB2 for Linux, UNIX and Windows 9.7, 10,1, 10.5, and 11.1 (includes DB2 Connect Server) could allow a local user with DB2 instance owner privileges to obtain root access. IBM X-Force ID: 128178.

The bug was discovered 09/07/2017. The weakness was released 09/07/2017 as swg22006061 as confirmed security bulletin (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at www-01.ibm.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2017-1451 since 11/30/2016. Attacking locally is a requirement. The successful exploitation needs a simple authentication.
