Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 SP3 and 2010 SP1 and SP2 allows remote attackers to conduct clickjacking attacks via a crafted web page, aka "Parameter Injection Vulnerability."

The weakness was disclosed 10/08/2013 by Nutan Kumar Panda as MS13-084 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is available at technet.microsoft.com. The public release has been coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability was named CVE-2013-3895 since 06/03/2013. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1068 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.

The vulnerability scanner Nessus provides a plugin with the ID 70336 (MS13-084: Vulnerabilities in Microsoft SharePoint Server Could Allow Remote Code Execution (2885089)), which helps to determine the existence of the flaw in a target environment. It is assigned to the family Windows : Microsoft Bulletins. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 110223 (Microsoft SharePoint Server Remote Code Execution Vulnerability (MS13-084)).

Applying the patch MS13-084 is able to eliminate this problem. The bugfix is ready for download at technet.microsoft.com. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.

The vulnerability is also documented in the vulnerability database at Tenable (70336). The entries 10633, 10634, 10635 and 10636 are pretty similar.
