RSA Archer GRC Platform prior to 6.2.0.5 is affected by stored cross-site scripting via the Source Asset ID field. An authenticated attacker may potentially exploit this to execute arbitrary HTML in the user's browser session in the context of the affected RSA Archer application.
The bug was discovered 10/06/2017. The weakness was presented 10/11/2017 as not defined mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is shared for download at seclists.org. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2017-14370 since 09/12/2017. The attack may be launched remotely. A simple authentication is necessary for exploitation.
