A vulnerability classified as critical was found in Google Go up to 1.4.2 (Programming Language Software). This vulnerability affects an unknown part in the library net/http/transfer.go of the component net/http. The manipulation of the argument Content-Length
as part of a HTTP Request leads to a request smuggling vulnerability (HTTP). The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-444. The product acts as an intermediary HTTP agent
(such as a proxy or firewall) in the data flow between two
entities such as a client and server, but it does not
interpret malformed HTTP requests or responses in ways that
are consistent with how the messages will be processed by
those entities that are at the ultimate destination. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
The net/http library in net/http/transfer.go in Go before 1.4.3 does not properly parse HTTP headers, which allows remote attackers to conduct HTTP request smuggling attacks via a request with two Content-length headers.
