In lsx_aiffstartread in aiff.c in Sound eXchange (SoX) 14.4.2, there is a Use-After-Free vulnerability triggered by supplying a malformed AIFF file.
The bug was discovered 10/17/2017. The weakness was released 10/19/2017 (Website). The advisory is available at sourceforge.net. This vulnerability was named CVE-2017-15642 since 10/19/2017.
