It is assigned to the family FreeBSD Local Security Checks and running in the context l. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 370577 (Apple iTunes for Windows Prior to 12.7 Multiple Vulnerabilities. (HT208141)).

Upgrading to version 11.0 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
