The manipulation of the argument search[gender]/search[sort_by] with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. SQL injection vulnerability in PHPFox before 3.6.0 (build4) allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the search[gender] parameter to user/browse/view_/.

The weakness was presented 08/07/2013 by Matias Fontanini as V3.6.0 (BUILD6) RELEASED as confirmed advisory (Bugtraq). The advisory is available at archives.neohapsis.com. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability was named CVE-2013-5120 since 08/14/2013. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details and also a public exploit are known. This vulnerability is assigned to T1505 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
