Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in vbshout.php in DragonByte Technologies vBShout module for vBulletin allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the shout parameter in a shout action.
The bug was discovered 03/22/2012. The weakness was published 01/11/2018 by ToiL as EDB-ID 18644 as not defined exploit (Exploit-DB). It is possible to read the advisory at exploit-db.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2012-6667 since 11/20/2014. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation.
