The bug was discovered 11/12/2013. The weakness was presented 11/12/2013 by Khalil Zhani as Stable Channel Update as confirmed blog post (Blogspot). The advisory is shared for download at googlechromereleases.blogspot.ch. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability was named CVE-2013-2931 since 04/11/2013. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
