A Denial of Service vulnerability was found in Apache Qpid Dispatch Router versions 0.7.0 and 0.8.0. To exploit this vulnerability, a remote user must be able to establish an AMQP connection to the Qpid Dispatch Router and send a specifically crafted AMQP frame which will cause it to segfault and shut down.
The bug was discovered 02/13/2018. The weakness was presented 02/13/2018 (Website). The advisory is available at issues.apache.org. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2017-15699 since 10/21/2017. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. The successful exploitation needs a simple authentication. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.

It is assigned to the family Red Hat Local Security Checks and running in the context l.
