Red Hat Keycloak before version 2.5.1 has an implementation of HMAC verification for JWS tokens that uses a method that runs in non-constant time, potentially leaving the application vulnerable to timing attacks.
The bug was discovered 04/04/2017. The weakness was presented 03/12/2018 as Bug 1412376 as not defined bug report (Bugzilla). The advisory is shared for download at bugzilla.redhat.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2017-2585 since 12/01/2016. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
