The weakness was published 01/07/2014 by Atte Kettunen with OUSPG as Stable Channel Update as confirmed blog post (Blog). The advisory is shared at googlechromereleases.blogspot.com. The public release has been coordinated with Google. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2013-6649 since 11/05/2013. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely.
