There is a time-based blind SQL injection vulnerability in the Access Manager component before 9.18.040 and 10.x before 10.18.040 in ELO ELOenterprise 9 and 10 and ELOprofessional 9 and 10 that makes it possible to read all database content. The vulnerability exists in the ticket HTTP GET parameter. For example, one can succeed in reading the password hash of the administrator user in the "userdata" table from the "eloam" database.
The bug was discovered 07/10/2018. The weakness was published 07/11/2018 as not defined mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is shared for download at seclists.org. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2018-10197 since 04/18/2018. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1505.
The exploit is available at packetstormsecurity.com. It is declared as proof-of-concept. The vulnerability was handled as a non-public zero-day exploit for at least 1 days. During that time the estimated underground price was around $0-$5k.
Upgrading to version 9.18.040 or 10.18.040 eliminates this vulnerability.
