The bug was discovered 07/11/2018. The weakness was released 07/17/2018 as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2018-0707 since 11/28/2017. The attack can be initiated remotely. A single authentication is necessary for exploitation.
