VsaVb7rt.dll in Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 and 3.5.1 does not implement the ASLR protection mechanism, which makes it easier for remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted web site, as exploited in the wild in February 2014, aka "VSAVB7RT ASLR Vulnerability."
The weakness was released 02/11/2014 with Microsoft as MS14-009 as not defined bulletin (Technet). The advisory is available at technet.microsoft.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-0295 since 12/03/2013. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
