as part of a GET Request leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. A SQL Injection vulnerability exists in the Zoho ManageEngine Applications Manager 13 before build 13820 via the resids parameter in a /editDisplaynames.do?method=editDisplaynames GET request.
The bug was discovered 08/06/2018. The weakness was released 08/08/2018 (GitHub Repository). The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2018-15168 since 08/07/2018. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1505.
