libavcodec/wmalosslessdec.c in FFmpeg before 2.1.4 uses an incorrect data-structure size for certain coefficients, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption) or possibly have unspecified other impact via crafted WMA data.
The issue has been introduced in 07/11/2013. The weakness was published 03/10/2014 by Mateusz Jurczyk and Gynvael Coldwind (j00ru) with Google Security Team as avcodec/wmalosslessdec: fix mclms_coeffs* array size as confirmed git commit (GIT Repository). The advisory is available at git.videolan.org. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-2098 since 02/24/2014. The attack may be launched remotely.
