Pimcore before 5.3.0 allows SQL Injection via the REST web service API.
The bug was discovered 06/11/2018. The weakness was presented 08/17/2018 as not defined mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is shared at seclists.org. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2018-14058 since 07/14/2018. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. A simple authentication is necessary for exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1505 for this issue.
