A vulnerability was found in Red Hat Gluster Storage up to 3.3.x. It has been rated as critical. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the component Tendrl API. Tendrl API in Red Hat Gluster Storage before 3.4.0 does not immediately remove session tokens after a user logs out. Session tokens remain active for a few minutes allowing attackers to replay tokens acquired via sniffing/MITM attacks and authenticate as the target user.
The bug was discovered 09/04/2018. The weakness was disclosed 09/11/2018 as not defined bug report (Bugzilla). The advisory is available at bugzilla.redhat.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2018-1127 since 12/03/2017. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
