No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available. The advisory points out:

An issue existed in the method for determining prime numbers. This issue was addressed by using pseudorandom bases for testing of primes.

Upgrading to version 12.1 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
