KindEditor through 4.1.11 has a path traversal vulnerability in php/upload_json.php. Anyone can browse a file or directory in the kindeditor/attached/ folder via the path parameter without authentication.

The bug was discovered 11/02/2018. The weakness was disclosed 11/05/2018 (Website). The advisory is shared at github.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2018-18950 since 11/05/2018. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available.
