The weakness was released 03/15/2014 by Mahmoud Ghorbanzadeh as not defined mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is available at seclists.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2013-5954 since 09/27/2013. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. The advisory points out:

A public exploit has been developed by Mahmoud Ghorbanzadeh and been published immediately after the advisory. The exploit is shared for download at packetstormsecurity.com. It is declared as highly functional. The vulnerability scanner Nessus provides a plugin with the ID 76253 (Revive Adserver < 3.0.5 Multiple CSRF Vulnerabilities), which helps to determine the existence of the flaw in a target environment. It is assigned to the family CGI abuses.
