The bug was discovered 12/04/2018. The weakness was released 12/11/2018 by Guang Gong with Qihoo 360 (Website). The advisory is available at chromereleases.googleblog.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2018-18346 since 10/15/2018. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.
