The weakness was presented 04/22/2014 by William Costa as SYM14-006 as confirmed advisory (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at symantec.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2014-1648 since 01/23/2014. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
