Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1592 according to MITRE ATT&CK. The advisory points out:
Python stack traces are included in the responses for some requests. This allows an attacker to gain information about the target operating system, local file paths etc. which can be used in further attacks.
A public exploit has been developed by Stefan Viehböck in HTTP GET Request and been published immediately after the advisory. The exploit is available at sec-consult.com. It is declared as proof-of-concept. The code used by the exploit is:
