An issue was discovered on Wifi-soft UniBox controller 0.x through 2.x devices. network/mesh/edit-nds.php is vulnerable to arbitrary file upload, allowing an attacker to upload .php files and execute code on the server with root user privileges. Authentication for accessing this component can be bypassed by using Hard coded credentials.
The bug was discovered 01/06/2019. The weakness was shared 03/21/2019 as not defined mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is shared at seclists.org. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2019-3495 since 01/01/2019. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1608.002 for this issue.
