A spoofing vulnerability exists when Microsoft SharePoint Server does not properly sanitize a specially crafted web request to an affected SharePoint server. An authenticated attacker could exploit the vulnerability by sending a specially crafted request to an affected SharePoint server.
The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 110334 (Microsoft Office and Microsoft Office Services and Web Apps Security Update May 2019).
Applying a patch is able to eliminate this problem. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
