The weakness was presented 07/23/2019 with Google Project Zero as HT210357/HT210358 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is available at support.apple.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2019-8649 since 02/18/2019. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1059.007 by the MITRE ATT&CK project. The advisory points out:

A logic issue existed in the handling of synchronous page loads. This issue was addressed with improved state management.

Upgrading to version 7.13 or 10.6 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
