EspoCRM 5.6.4 is vulnerable to stored XSS due to lack of filtration of user-supplied data in the Knowledge base. A malicious attacker can inject JavaScript code in the body parameter during api/v1/KnowledgeBaseArticle knowledge-base record creation.

The weakness was presented 07/28/2019. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2019-14350 since 07/28/2019. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available.
