GreenBrowser before version 1.2 has a vulnerability where apps that rely on URL Parsing to verify that a given URL is pointing to a trust server may be susceptible to many different ways to get URL parsing and verification wrong, which allows an attacker to circumvent the access control. This problem has been patched in version 1.2.

The weakness was disclosed 04/08/2020 (GitHub Repository). The advisory is available at github.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2020-11000 since 03/30/2020. The attack may be launched remotely. Required for exploitation is a simple authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.

Upgrading to version 1.2 eliminates this vulnerability.
