The weakness was released 03/06/2000 with Microsoft as MS00-015 as confirmed bulletin (Website). The advisory is shared for download at microsoft.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2000-0200. The exploitation appears to be difficult. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
