This article discloses critical vulnerabilities in IPTV/H.264/H.265 video encoders based on HiSilicon hi3520d hardware.The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2020-24219. Attacking locally is a requirement. A simple authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known.
