The bug was discovered 07/12/2005. The weakness was presented 07/13/2005 by Alexander Kornbrust with Oracle (Website). The advisory is available at oracle.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2005-2292 since 07/17/2005. The attack can only be done within the local network. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1592 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
