Buffer overflow in dtmail in Solaris 2.6 and 7 allows local users to gain privileges via the MAIL environment variable.
The bug was discovered 07/24/2001. The weakness was disclosed 08/14/2001 by NSFOCUS with NSFOCUS Security as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is available at marc.theaimsgroup.com.
