Memory leak in the request_key_auth_destroy function in request_key_auth in Linux kernel 2.6.10 up to 2.6.13 allows local users to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via a large number of authorization token keys.
The bug was discovered 10/12/2005. The weakness was published 10/12/2005 by Robert Derr with Redhat (Website). The advisory is shared for download at kernel.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2005-3119 since 10/03/2005. The attack can only be done within the local network. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication.
