Cross-site scripting vulnerability in edituser.php for pforum 1.14 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script and steal cookies from other users via Javascript in a username.

The bug was discovered 02/22/2002. The weakness was shared 06/25/2002 by ppp-design (Website). The advisory is shared for download at marc.info. This vulnerability was named CVE-2002-0319. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1059.007.
