The weakness was released 07/03/2002 by Matt Moore with WESTPOINT as MS02-030 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is available at microsoft.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2002-0187. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit. This vulnerability is assigned to T1059.007 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
