A vulnerability was found in phpMyAdmin (Database Administration Software). It has been classified as problematic. This affects an unknown functionality of the file header_http.inc.php. The bug was discovered 11/16/2005. The weakness was published 11/16/2005 by Toni Koivunen (lorenzo) (Website). The advisory is shared at fitsec.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2005-3621 since 11/16/2005. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. Upgrading eliminates this vulnerability. Applying a patch is able to eliminate this problem. The bugfix is ready for download at phpmyadmin.net. The best possible mitigation is suggested to be upgrading to the latest version. A possible mitigation has been published even before and not after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
