Entercept Agent 2.5 agent for Windows, released before May 21, 2002, allows local administrative users to obtain the entercept agent password, which could allow the administrators to log on as the entercept_agent account and conceal their identity.

The weakness was disclosed 12/31/2002 by Arthur (Website). The advisory is shared at derkeiler.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2002-1875 since 06/29/2005. The exploitation is known to be easy. An attack has to be approached locally. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
