A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Webresolve 0.0.1/0.0.2. This issue affects some unknown functionality of the component DNS Resolution Handler. The manipulation of the argument hostname
with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-119. Buffer overflow in Webresolve 0.1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by connecting to the server from an IP address that resolves to a long hostname.
