Microsoft Windows XP with Fast User Switching (FUS) enabled does not remove the "show processes from all users" privilege when the user is removed from the administrator group, which allows that user to view prosesses of other users.
The weakness was published 12/31/2002 by Eitan Caspi as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared at archives.neohapsis.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2002-2283 since 10/17/2007. An attack has to be approached locally. A simple authentication is necessary for exploitation. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1068 for this issue.
Upgrading eliminates this vulnerability.
