A vulnerability classified as very critical was found in Early Impact Productcart. This vulnerability affects an unknown function of the file login.asp/Custva.asp of the component Control Panel. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in ProductCart 1.5 through 2 allow remote attackers to (1) gain access to the admin control panel via the idadmin parameter to login.asp or (2) gain other privileges via the Email parameter to Custva.asp.
The weakness was disclosed 08/18/2003 as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared for download at marc.theaimsgroup.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2003-0522 since 07/08/2003. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 11317 (ProductCart Custva.ASP SQL Injection Vulnerability).
