The Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) implementation in Alcatel OmniPCX Enterprise 5.0 Lx allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service and possibly execute arbitrary code via crafted INVITE messages, as demonstrated by the OUSPG PROTOS c07-sip test suite.
The weakness was released 12/31/2003 with Oulu University Secure Programming Group as confirmed advisory (CERT.org). The advisory is shared for download at kb.cert.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2003-1108 since 03/11/2005. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available.
