The bug was discovered 12/02/2004. The weakness was disclosed 02/03/2004 by Dirk-Willem van Gulik (Website). The advisory is available at lists.apple.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2004-1082 since 11/30/2004. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1592 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
